The Lotus Everywhere Crib features a sturdy "pop up" design with a zipper side opening and mesh sides. The crib's structure offers a child a safe, clean sleeping environment while providing maximum airflow and breathability.
The crib also has a firm, wipeable mattress pad that can be fitted with a standard crib sheet or mattress cover for added coverage. The pad is covered with a waterproof material that doesn't absorb liquid and resists stains. The pad can be easily cleaned by simple wiping or scrubbing with warm soapy water and drying with a towel.
The crib's zipper side unzips to provide easy access to the bottom of the crib to create a play and sleep area for toddlers. The size also zips up to create an all-encompassing sleep space for infants. When unzipped, the mesh side rolls up and easily tucks in between the bottom of the crib and the mattress.
One big advantage of the Lotus Everywhere Crib is that it's a great universal bed for kids of various ages. I use the Lotus interchangeably for our infant and our two-and-a-half-year-old as a portable bed at a friend's house or a hotel. It's especially convenient for nap times since the Lotus allows our family to successfully give our kids naps outside of our home.
The Lotus Everywhere Crib is very easy to set up and fold down. Simply unfold the legs, pull it out of the bag, open it up, and place the mattress into the base. The top rail locks automatically.To pack it, simply squeeze the rails where indicated by the arrows to fold the top rail. The folded crib creates a "Z" shape and a strap clips together to secure the sides. The legs fold in by tugging in downward on each leg and the mattress wraps around the crib structure to create a compact rectangle cube, which fits into the small carrying case. The packed crib size measures 24" long by 7" wide by 11" tall.
Our toddler enjoys playing in the Lotus Everywhere Crib and having quiet time and reading time with her stuffed animals. Throw a blanket over the top and it becomes a simple fort that can be taken out into the backyard or down to the basement. When set up, the Lotus Crib measures 45" long by 32" wide by 25" tall.
