Unique Father's Day Gift Ideas

With Father's Day this weekend I have been racking my brain trying to come up with some thoughtful and unique Father's Day gifts that my husband and dad will actually use. Here is what made it onto my short list of great Father's Day gifts:

1. Smart Phone/Tablet Case

My toddlers are rough on just about everything, and that includes my husband's smartphone. The phone is great when we are out and the kids want to play a game or watch a show, but allowing the kids to hold the phone can also be scary.

2. Diaper Bag

I love my diaper bag that looks like a designer purse, but my husband is less than excited when that is what I hand him on his way out the door with the kids. The bags from Diaper Dude make great Father's Day gifts!

3. Date Night

Having kids it can be easy to forget to take time for yourself, so every holiday or birthday I like to give my husband a date night.

4. DIY Coasters

I made some of these painted coasters for friends a few years ago and decided that unique Father's Day gifts for husbands and dads like this would be a fun project to try with the kids. Let them paint a few and do a couple with handprints.

5. DIY DAD Photo

I cut D and A letters out of cardboard and had the kids hold each letter, printed them out in black and white, and framed them for my husband's office. This is the gift I am most excited for him to open!
